Đilda Pečarić završila je studij Information Technology u Adelaidu, Australia, 2004. godine. Diplomu sa sveučilišta Flinders University nostrifi-ciralo je Sveučilište u Zagrebu 2004. U akademskoj godini 2004./2005. upisala je doktorski studij na Filozofskom fakultetu, smjer Društveno-humanistička informatika. Na Odsjeku za informacijske znanosti Filozofskog fakulteta u Zagrebu primljena je za znanstvenog novaka u suradničkom zvanju asistenata 2006. godine, a 2011. godine za znanstvenog novaka u suradničkom zvanju višeg asistenata. Od 2006. do 2007. sudjeluje na projektu Označena baza i sintaktički ustroj hrvatskih rečenica pod vodstvom prof. dr. sc. Božidara Tepeša. Od 2007. godine radi na katedri Organizacija znanja na Odsjeku za informacijske znanosti. Istovremeno radi na projektu Oblikovanje i upravljanje javnim znanjem u informacijskom prostoru pod vodstvom prof. dr. sc. Miroslava Tuđmana. U okviru ovog projekta i pod mentorstvom prof. dr. sc. Miroslava Tuđmana doktorirala je 2010. s temom doktorske disertacije Razvoj informacijskih znanosti u Hrvatskoj. Bibliometrijska analiza doktorskih disertacija iz informacijskih znanosti 1978.-2007. te time stekla akademski stupanj doktora društvenih znanosti, znanstvenog polja informacijskih i komunikacijskih znanosti, znanstvene grane infor-macijskih sustava i informatologije. U znanstveno znanje znanstvenog suradnika u znanstvenom području društvenih znanosti – polje informacij-ske i komunikacijske znanosti izabrana je 2011. godine. Dr. sc. Đilda Pečarić asistent je na katedri Organizacije znanja i drži seminare i vježbe na kolegijima Organizacija znanja, Istraživačke metode, Bibliometrija, Teorija informacijske znanosti, Epistemologija informacijske znanosti. Objavila je više znanstvenih radova u domaćim i stranim časopisima. Akademski izdavač LAP LAMBERT 2011. objavio joj je knjigu Development of Information Sciences in Croatia. Bibliometric Analysis of Doctoral Dissertations in Information Sciences from 1978 to 2009. Sudjelovala na domaćim znanstvenim skupovima (Zagreb, Varaždin, Zadar, Dubrovnik, Opatija) te na međunarodnim znanstvenim skupovima (Kreta 2010., Atena 2011., Limerick 2012., Porto, 2012.). I više puta bila mentor završnih i diplomskih radova.
