Cilj
Uputiti studente u suvremene metode proučavanja književnosti koje polaze od empirijskih temelja. Ti će se pristupi na kolegiju nastojati obrazložiti kroz jednostavnu trodijelnu podjelu koja uzima u obzir jesu li pristupi usmjereni na pojedinačnog čitatelja, na skupinu čitatelja, ili na književno djelo. Također će se ukazati kako takvi pristupi često nastaju u bliskom dodiru s drugim humanističkim disciplinama, ali i društvenim te prirodnim znanostima – sociologijom, etnologijom, (evolucijskom) psihologijom, (kognitivnom) lingvistikom – te će se kritički razmotriti implikacije takvih interdisciplinarnih i transdisciplinarnih spojeva. Osim teorijskih aspekata, u seminarskom će se dijelu kolegija pokušati oprimjeriti specifična praktična dimenzija izdvojenih pristupa.

Ishodi učenja
  1. opisati razvoj empirijskih pristupa književnosti
  2. primijeniti književnoteorijske pojmove i (empirijske) metode u analizi strukture književnih tekstova, kao i drugih kulturnih fenomena
  3. interdisciplinarno povezati i integrirati znanja i vještine stečene na studiju komparativne književnosti s drugim studijskim programom u društveno-humanističkim grupama
